Paul Laughlin is a multifamily and retail real estate advisor with over a decade of experience unlocking value across the full asset lifecycle. As founder of LaughlinRE LLC, he partners with owners and investors to revamp operations, enhance asset performance, and drive portfolio appreciation through hands-on, institutional-level management. Throughout his career, he has built a multi-million dollar secondary market REIT investment fund and led the management of more than 65 multifamily assets encompassing 5,400+ apartment units. Before launching his consulting firm, Paul co-managed Macy’s, Inc. Real Estate portfolio, leading the revaluation and monetization of 18 property sales and driving an additional $126 million in disposition proceeds.
Previously, Paul ran acquisitions for a Chicago-based private equity firm, directing the acquisition and asset management of 28 properties across the Midwest and Southeast, including 19 workforce housing properties totaling 2,100+ units.
